Ann Taylor Debevoise
Woodstock, Vt. (VLS Trustee Since 1996)
Ann Taylor Debevoise raises polled Hereford cattle and polled Dorset sheep at Pinnacle Farm in Woodstock, Vermont. Mrs. Debevoise serves as a trustee of the Norman Williams Public Library (Woodstock), a board member of the Vermont Center for the Book, and a director of the Vermont Beef Producers Association. Her many civic contributions have included service as supervisor of the Ottauquechee Natural Resources Conservation District; trustee of the Vermont Achievement Center and of the Woodstock Historical Society; and member of the Vermont Arts Council.
Mrs. Debevoise served as "general factotum" to her husband, the late Thomas Debevoise, during his tenure as dean of Vermont Law School (1974-1982). The Debevoises made innumerable contributions to VLS's growth and development during these formative years.
Mrs. Debevoise received her BA from Swarthmore College.
