Cara Cookson is a second-year student at Vermont Law School and serves the Board of Trustees as the Class of 2010 student representative. Cara is also the Secretary of the Barrister's Bookstore Board of Directors and a staff member of the Vermont Law Review. Before coming to VLS, Cara worked for U.S. Senator Jim Jeffords, I-VT, as a legislative aide on the Minority staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.
Cara received her BA in Politics and English Literature, cum laude, from Mount Holyoke College in 2004. She grew up in Cabot, Vermont.
