Faculty and Administration
The Environmental Law Center faculty and staff include some of the nation's top environmental lawyers and environmentalists. Our 16 full-time faculty, 38 adjuncts, and 39 summer faculty have deep specialized knowledge, are dedicated to VLS students, and engage with the world outside the classroom.
Our faculty are dedicated teachers and motivated scholars who challenge convention. They are advocates determined to have a positive impact on the world around us. They mentor students, pursue collaborations and partnerships with researchers and organizations in the U.S. and abroad, litigate major cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and other major courts, and organize political and public action campaigns. As experts, they have testified before Congress and participated in precedent-setting lawsuits. Widely published, their books and articles have established them as recognized and respected experts on environmental law, energy policy, land use, urban planning, wildlife and wilderness law, and "green taxes."

Meet the administration and advisory board of Vermont Law School's Environmental Law Center.
The Environmental Law Center regularly hosts visiting scholars and other guests with expertise in environmental law and policy. They join the VLS community for short periods of time to conduct research, present their work to the VLS community, interact with students, and serve as networking resources.
