Josh Donabedian, JD Fellow
Josh Donabedian is the 2013 JD Fellow at the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems. Mr. Donabedian is a 2013 graduate from Vermont Law School, where he earned his Masters in Environmental Law and Policy and JD. Donabedian graduated from Colby College in 2007 with a BA in Sociology. After college, he moved to Boulder, Colorado before returning to New England to attend Vermont Law School. While at Vermont Law, Josh specialized in local agriculture and sustainable food systems and the agriculture-focused student group, the Food and Agricultural Law Society. Donabedian spent his first summer in law school as a research associate for Vermont Law faculty members where he analyzed the impacts of the Food Safety Modernization Act on small-scale, sustainable farms and the then current 2012 Farm Bill proposal. He spent his second summer interning at the Vermont Farm Viability Enhancement Program at the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board, where he was responsible for research on risk management and legal business structures for Vermont farms and agriculture-based businesses.
