MELP Dual Degree Programs
Students pursuing a JD or another degree at a different institution may also pursue a Master of Environmental Law (MELP) at Vermont Law School. Applicants must apply separately to Vermont Law School and to the partner institution, and admission to the MELP degree program does not ensure admission to a dual degree program. Prospective applicants should review the detailed descriptions of the MELP dual degree programs provided below.
Applicants from Northeastern University School of Law normally apply to VLS during the second year of law school. Applicants from the University of South Carolina School of Law and University of South Dakota School of Law apply to VLS during the first year of law school.
Applicants interested in dual degree programs with Dartmouth, Thunderbird and Vermont may apply to VLS and the partner institution at the same time and may begin enrollment with either program.
