SOUTH ROYALTON, VT -- Vermont Law School will host an IRS workshop for small and medium-sized non-profit organizations in northern New England from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 12. The one-day workshop is part of a nationwide series of workshops by the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division of the Internal Revenue Service.

The workshops are designed for administrators and volunteers who are responsible for an organization's tax compliance. Workshop topics will include benefits and responsibilities of tax-exempt status, unrelated business income, employment issues, the redesigned 990 forms and required disclosures.
