Daniel P. Richardson teaches Municipal Law at Vermont Law School. He is a partner at Tarrant, Gillies, Merriman, & Richardson in Montpelier, Vermont. He was previously the trial court law clerk for Chittenden Superior Court for the Hon. Matthew Katz and the Hon. Richard Norton. He is also the former editor in chief of the Vermont Law Review. He has served on the Montpelier Design Review Committee and is presently a member of the Montpelier Development Review Board and Cemetery Commission. He is a board member of the Vermont Bar Association and the Vermont Bar Foundation. He also blogs about Vermont Supreme Court cases at www.scovlegal.blogspot.com. He received a BA degree, summa cum laude, from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1996 and a JD degree, magna cum laude, from Vermont Law School in 2003.
