Matthew I. Levine has served as an assistant attorney general in the Criminal Division of the Vermont Attorney General's Office since 1998. Previously, he was in private practice in Vermont, primarily concentrating in criminal defense, juvenile law, and personal injury law since 1986 after serving as a judicial law clerk for the Vermont District Court. His prior experience was as a professional actor from 1977 to 1982. His areas of expertise are criminal law and procedure, litigation, and evidence. He teaches Trial Practice at Vermont Law School.
