Vermont Law School has partnered with several renowned universities abroad to offer exceptional international dual degree opportunities. Participating students earn a JD degree from Vermont Law School and a Master or a LLM degree from one of our partner institutions.

 

JD/LLM IN FRENCH AND EUROPEAN UNION LAW

University of Cergy-Pontoise - France
Through a special exchange agreement between Vermont Law School and the University of Cergy-Pontoise, students earn both a JD and an LLM by spending two years of study at Vermont Law School and one year at Cergy-Pontoise.

JD/MPHIL IN ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

University of Cambridge - England
​In partnership with the University of Cambridge's Department of Land Economy, VLS combines its Juris Doctor program with Cambridge's Master's of Philosophy programs in Real Estate Finance, Environment Policy, and Planning, Growth and Regeneration. The three and one-half year program moves students from VLS, to Cambridge, and then back to VLS.

Both the JD/ Master I and JD/ Master II DJCE programs are designed for students with a mastery of the French language who are interested in pursuing a career in international law and policy, whether involving work in the United States or abroad.
