Elizabeth Kruska

Biography

Elizabeth Kruska is an adjunct professor at Vermont Law School. Since 2012, she has taught criminal law and procedure in the General Practice Program in a course called “Bail to Jail.” She also teaches evidence lab in the spring semester. Elizabeth has also taught criminal justice ethics at Norwich University in 2017.

She earned a BS in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan, and her JD and General Practice Certificate at Vermont Law School. Elizabeth practiced in Windsor County, Vermont, doing primarily public defense work for about twelve years before launching a solo firm in early 2017. Her work centers mostly on criminal and juvenile cases.

Elizabeth is a member of the Vermont Bar Association Board of Managers. She is also a regular contributor to the SCOV Law Blog (scovlegal.blogspot.com), which reviews and summarizes every Vermont Supreme Court case.
