ELECTIONS PROCESS
NOMINATIONS
Starting Monday, March 16, 2009 at 8 AM, there will be a nominations box at thelibrary circulation desk for you to nominate people for next year's SBA.
THE NOMINATION PERIOD WILL END AT 6 PM ON MARCH 24, 2009.
PLEASE nominate people OR YOURSELF for these positions. Being active in
the SBA is a fun and important way to engage in the VLS community.
HOW TO NOMINATE SOMEONE ON CAMPUS PROCESS
Place the name of your nominee in the "official repository" which is located at the library circulation desk.
OFF CAMPUS PROCESS

NOTIFICATIONS
Each Nominee will receive a notification of nomination(s) slip in their campus mailbox by 1900EST.
Retractions must in writing and in the SBA Secretary's, campus mailbox by no later than 1700EST on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Failure to do so will result in a placement on the ballot.
On SIP?
You may make alternative arrangements by emailing the SBA Secretary with in the allotted time frame to accept or deny a nomination.
ELECTION POLL DATES & CANDIDATE FORUM
The Candidate Forum will be Monday, March 30, 2009, 5:30pm in Chase.
Polls will run from Tuesday March 31, 2009 to Friday April 3, 2009.
Elections will take place from 9-3:30. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, elections will be held in Debevoise 101. On Thursday, they will be in the Waterman conference room.
Run off(s), if any, will run the following week April 6, 2009 to Friday April 10, 2009.
