Biography
Claire graduated with her JD/MERL degree in May of 2020. While at VLS, she was interested in distributed energy resources, project finance and development, land use, and related equitable matters. In September 0f 2020, she began a two-year clerkship with the Office of Administrative Law Judges at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
While at Vermont Law School, Claire worked on several research and clinic projects, including analyzing the cybersecurity resiliency of the electric grid, focusing on state and federal regulation, distribution, and smart growth buildout. In the spring of 2019, she co-published a report identifying obstacles and best practices to improve private and public policy. In November 2019 Claire and her team published their second report, highlighting proven pathways to enhancing grid security.
