Biography
Catherine Fregosi joined the legal writing faculty in 2018 and currently teaches Appellate Advocacy and Legal Writing II. She coaches Vermont Law School’s moot court team in the Emory Civil Rights & Liberties Moot Court Competition. She received the Student Bar Association’s Faculty Service Award, presented in recognition of commitment and dedication to the student body, for the 2018–2019 academic year.
Professor Fregosi is a 2016 graduate of Vermont Law School, summa cum laude, and holds a B.A. in psychology from the College of William & Mary. Professor Fregosi served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Justice John A. Dooley of the Vermont Supreme Court from 2016 to 2017. She served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Justice Karen R. Carroll of the Vermont Supreme Court from 2017 to 2018. As a student at Vermont Law School, Professor Fregosi served as the Editor in Chief of the Vermont Law Review. Professor Fregosi is admitted to practice in Vermont.
