Biography

Adjunct Professor Stacy Shelton is an attorney-adviser in the Air and EPCRA Law Office at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Atlanta, Ga. She graduated summa cum laude from VLS in 2016 and is barred in Georgia and Vermont. Since law school, Professor Shelton has been a law clerk in the Environmental Division of the Vermont Superior Court, an associate attorney for the Southern Environmental Law Center in Atlanta, and an assistant attorney general with the Environment & Natural Resources Section in the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. Prior to law school, she was the environmental reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and a public affairs specialist for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
