Presidential Conversations, Episode 1 – Constitutional Issues and Election 2024: Presidential Immunity, the Insurrection Clause, and the Electoral College

VLGS President Rod Smolla, a noted constitutional law scholar and litigator, will present a town meeting forum in which he explains constitutional issues germane to the coming 2024 Presidential Election, including such topics as presidential immunity, the Fourteenth Amendment’s “Insurrection Clause,” “Faithless Electors,” and other matters relating to the powers of states to influence outcomes in the Electoral College, followed by audience participation.
