VLS Animal Law Society presents “Captive Wildlife”

The VLS Animal Law Society will be hosting a symposium on "Captive Wildlife".
The lineup of speakers includes Rob Laidlaw, founder of Zoocheck Canada and an expert on zoo animal welfare, Doctor Mary Lee Jensvold, an expert on chimpanzee sign language from the Fauna Foundation and Kate Dylewsky of Born Free, USA to speak about current laws regarding ownership and welfare of exotic animals. Vegan appetizers will be served to those in attendance. The event will feature a series of individual discussions followed by a group panel with Q&A.
