Mountains of Resistance Film Screening

Join your fellow students for a screening of Mountains of Resistance, a film about environmental injustice and social movements in marginalized communities.

Following the film, there will be a panel discussion featuring one of the film producers, Samantha Ryals, VLS professors, Kathleen Falk and Stephanie Farrior, and VLS student Nicha Rakpanichmanee.

There will have scarves and other goods made by the Thai Radical Grandma Collective, which make just about the best holiday gift I can think of, so bring cash, checks, or a card. All proceeds from these sales go to the organizing efforts and legal fees in the Thai village.
