Tea Time with PEL

Come join us on November 15th at 1:00 p.m. in the Waterman Conference Room for Tea Time with the U.S.-Asia Partnerships for Environmental Law. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome.

China has struggled with air pollution for many years, though progress has been made recently in environmental enforcement. Based on his work at PEL as a research associate, Charles Kuo JD’20 will discuss the air pollution permitting mechanisms of China and the United States, with a focus on the oil and gas industries. His presentation will cover permit application processes in both countries, and will explore what China has done so far and where it may be headed in its fight against air pollution.
