Vermont State’s Attorney Candidate Forum

On Thursday, August 2, the VLS Center for Justice Reform and the Vermont ACLU are co-hosting a forum for the Vermont State’s Attorney candidates in a contested primary or general election. Candidates from Bennington, Orleans, Essex, and Lamoille Counties have agreed to participate.


The event is moderated by Professor Robert Sand, Director of the Center for Justice Reform at Vermont Law School. If you would like to submit questions for the candidates, please email them to rsand@vermontlaw.edu with the subject line “Forum Question”.


The event is free and open to the general public and the media. Doors open to the Chase Community Center on the VLS campus at 6:15 p.m. with the event beginning at 6:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.


Vermont’s Primary Election is on Tuesday, August 14th and the General Election is on Tuesday, November 6th
