Film Screening and Panel Discussion: Miles to Go Before She Sleeps
April 5 @ 9:00 pm - April 6 @ 12:00 am EDT
Meet filmmaker Faye Yuan and watch the independent Chinese documentary, “Miles to Go Before She Sleeps,” about an idealistic schoolteacher who lays her life on the line to expose a nationwide dog theft ring that sends thousands of stolen pets to slaughterhouses. With the local police turning a blind eye, an ambush occurs in broad daylight.
Light refreshments will be served before the screening.
