Biography
Contact
Peter W. Adler graduated with honors in philosophy from Dartmouth College (B.A.) and Cambridge University (M.A.), and he earned his law degree from University of Virginia School of Law, where he was an editor of the Virginia Law Review and the Virginia Journal of International Law. He has published ten law review articles and a book, most about children’s rights under U.S. and international human rights law.
After graduating from law school, Peter worked as a partner in a Boston area law firm in charge of corporate law and civil litigation. Since 2015, he has taught International Law and Business Law in the Legal Studies department at the University of Massachusetts and International Business at its Manning School of Business. During the summer, he leads the business school’s Study Abroad program to Copenhagen.
Peter’s business experience includes working as a Vice President in the European Division of an international bank. He also started one of the first ecommerce companies and sold it to a Fortune 500 company, where he worked in senior management helping to build and run its ecommerce department.
Peter is a dual U.S.-U.K. citizen. He enjoys international travel and has been to 50 countries. He also enjoys photography and tennis, cycling, sailing, and kayaking.
