Biography
Callum LaFrance is a Legal Fellow at both the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems (CAFS) and the Environmental Justice Clinic (EJC). Callum obtained his JD in 2024 from Vermont Law and Graduate School and received his bachelors in English and Theatre from UMASS Amherst in 2018. Before attending law school, Callum worked as an actor and digital media designer for social justice theater companies and as a carpenter. He grew up in Western Massachusetts raising animals and working on farms and in the food industry. His legal interests include increasing land access and retention for Black and Indigenous folx, Environmental Justice, and community lawyering.
