Biography

Karen McAndrew was engaged in private litigation practice for many years, most of them with Dinse P.C. (and its predecessors) in Burlington, Vermont, with an emphasis on higher education and employment law, as well as commercial litigation. She left Dinse in the early 1980s for a brief stint as Assistant U.S Attorney for the District of Vermont, and then after several years returned to Dinse and private practice.

She clerked for the Hon. James Oakes, on the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 1997.

McAndrew currently lives in Shelburne, Vermont, and has two sons, two stepdaughters, and two young grandchildren.
