Biography
Adam L. Powers is an attorney and mediator with a broad Vermont practice, including personal injury and other civil litigation, wills and estate planning, real estate transactions and disputes, business formation, appellate advocacy, and negotiation in its many forms.
Adam has been practicing law since 2011, and takes pride in carefully applying all of the legal tools available to help clients, while also considering the relationships, costs, and other factors involved. His goal is to close each file with a result that is tailored to what the client wants.
Adam is an adjunct Professor of Law at Vermont Law School, teaching or co-teaching several courses a year in the areas of negotiation and representing clients in the context of mediation.
Adam is also a skilled mediator, serving as a problem-solving neutral in a wide range of disputes, including serving as a contract mediator for the Vermont Department of Education in Special Education disputes.
