Constitution Day 2020: Your Voice, Your Vote, Your Democracy

5:00pm - 6:00pm

Constitution Day is the day in 1787 that delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution in Philadelphia. This federal observance also honors those who have become U.S. citizens. You can learn more about Constitution Day here.  Celebrating Constitution Day, with the pomp and circumstance that it deserves, is a long standing VLS tradition.

Thanks to the Vermont Bar Association, we will virtually host a distinguished panel discussing the topic, "Your Voice, Your Vote, Your Democracy."  Please join us at 5:00 pm on Teams for this hour-long presentation.

Panelists:

The Honorable Harold Eaton, Vermont Supreme Court

The Honorable William Cohen, Vermont Supreme Court*

The Honorable Samuel Hoar, Jr., Vermont Superior Court

The Honorable Kirstin Schoonover, Vermont Superior Court; and

VLS's own Professor Peter Teachout!

The panel will be moderated by Elizabeth Novotny, President of the Vermont Bar Association.
