Vermont Law School will host the Tenth Annual Colloquium on Environmental Scholarship Sept 20-22, 2019. This event offers environmental law scholars the opportunity to present their works-in-progress, to receive feedback from their colleagues, and to meet and interact with those who are also teaching and researching in areas of environmental and natural resource law, or any related specialty areas.
“We are pleased to host this distinguished group of scholars and provide a forum to test and refine some of the ideas that will shape environmental law scholarship in the coming year,” said Colloquium Director, Emily Spiegel.
Twenty-seven panelists and over fifty-five attendees will participate in the colloquium this year. While the event is not open to the public, participant papers are eligible for consideration for publication in the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law, available online at http://vjel.vermontlaw.edu/. The journal provides an accessible forum to discuss contemporary environmental legal issues.
In addition to presenting their work, participants will have the opportunity to hike with VLS faculty members and alumni. For more information about the Colloquium on Environmental Scholarship, visit forms.vermontlaw.edu/elc/colloquium or email Courtney Collins at ccollins@vermontlaw.edu.
