Carlson previously earned his JD and Master’s of Environmental Law and Policy at VLGS, graduating in 2020. He also holds a BS in Music Business and an MA in Theological Studies from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. As a VLGS student, he focused on farmland solar policy and cooperative corporations. After his graduation from VLGS, he returned to his native Tennessee and founded Eco Demo Law, PLLC, where he worked with clients to cultivate resilient systems. Carlson is excited to be back in Vermont working towards a just transition at the IEE’s Energy Clinic.
