Brian Thomson spent over a decade working in Asia as a teacher and development professional holding multiple positions at the United Nations and USAID. While attending Vermont Law School, where he received the Master of Energy Regulation and Law (MERL), Brian was a Research Associate at the IEE. Currently he works at the Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC), where he represents municipal utilities on the NEPOOL Markets, Power Supply Planning, Transmission, and Planning Advisory Committees. He is also actively engaged in recent efforts to integrate state renewables policies into regional wholesale markets.
